How to play Merge Fruit

Merge Fruit is a Suika-style physics puzzler: drop fruit into the jar, and when two matching fruits touch they merge into the next bigger fruit — from cherry all the way up to the fabled watermelon. The run ends when the pile spills over the top line.

Controls

Move your finger or mouse to aim the drop position, release or click to drop. The next fruit is shown in advance, so every drop can be a plan rather than a reflex. Fully one-handed, deliberately relaxing.

Scoring

Every merge scores, and bigger merges score more. Chains are the jackpot: one merge slumps the pile, touching off another merge, and another — a well-built jar plays itself.

Tips

Keep big fruit in the corners and along the bottom, and never bury a large fruit under small ones — a stranded watermelon-in-waiting is dead weight. Sort as you go: drop like near like, and keep one side of the jar for small fry. The physics is the puzzle — a gentle drop on a slope rolls, and a smart roll can deliver a fruit to its twin. Panic-dropping in the centre is how the jar overflows.
