How to play Gem Burst

Gem Burst is a classic bubble shooter: aim your gem, fire it into the ceiling formation, and match three or more of a colour to burst them. Cut a cluster's connection to the ceiling and the whole thing crashes down for bonus points.

Controls

Aim with your mouse or finger — drag to fine-tune the angle — and release or click to fire. Bank shots off the side walls are fully physical: the rebound angle mirrors the approach, letting you reach pockets no straight shot can touch.

Scoring

Matched bursts score, but drops score bigger: severing the anchor bubbles that hold a formation to the ceiling brings everything hanging below down at once. The ceiling grinds lower as your score climbs, so the game slowly squeezes you toward the danger line.

Tips

Shoot for the necks, not the bellies — the narrow connections holding big clusters to the ceiling are worth triple any direct match. Learn the wall bounce early; half the best shots in the game are banked. Watch your next-gem preview and park awkward colours somewhere harmless rather than jamming them into your cleanest cluster. Never let stragglers accumulate at the bottom edge: they're the ones the descending ceiling turns into a loss.
