How to play Reflex Tap

Reflex Tap is a 45-second reaction-time test. Glowing tiles light up on the grid and fade fast — tap them before they're gone. The quicker your reaction, the more points each tap banks.

Controls

Tap or click the lit tile. That's it — but watch the colour: not every tile is a friend, and slapping everything that lights up will cost you.

Scoring

Points scale with your reaction speed, so a razor-sharp tap is worth far more than a lazy one. As the clock runs down the targets come faster and overlap, turning the last fifteen seconds into a genuine flurry.

Tips

Rest your eyes on the centre of the grid and use peripheral vision to catch the light-up, rather than scanning tile by tile — your peripheral reaction is faster than your searching eye. On a phone, play with two thumbs and split the grid into halves. Accuracy beats panic: a missed colour check or wasted tap costs more than a half-second of patience. Reaction time is trainable, so your score genuinely climbs across a few sessions.
